Ordering Information

Ordering Instructions: With your order include your: Name, Street Address, Phone Number and/or email address. Be sure to specify color, details, size, or measurements as required. For most pages of this website we now have an order form at the top of the page. The order form lists all items on that page. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader® to open these PDF forms. This is a free downloadable software from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html
If the item you want is not on the order form, or you can't print it out, just write a note describing what you want, or print out the web page and circle the items. Lots of people have sent us handwritten orders for shoes, garters, neckstocks, and buttons; and don't mention the size or length they want. The order forms are a pain, but they minimize confusion. Eventually we will figure out a shopping cart software to eliminate multiple PDF order forms and have everything you want listed on one sheet of paper, but for now this is our system. We strive to make this site as clear and accurate as possible, however, we are not infallible. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice.

Shipping charges: see the shipping chart at the bottom of this page. Nearly all packages are sent by U.S. Mail, or occasionally by U.P.S. or FedEx Ground.

Payment: Please make your personal check or money order payable to Roy Najecki, in U.S. dollars and drawn on a bank located in the U.S. Canadian orders can be paid with a Canadian Postal money order payable in US dollars, or a US Dollar World Money Orders from the Royal Bank of Canada. If you are in England please contact me for special instructions. We accept credit and debit card payments if made through PayPal as described below. (These instructions were updated on August 12th.)

1) Sign onto your PayPal account, click on the 'Send Money' tab.
2) In the 'To' box enter Roy@Najecki.com. PayPal charges me a 4% for receiving payments via PayPal that I pass onto you. You must calculate this 4% surcharge and add it to the total of the goods and shipping. Sorry, but the way my PayPal account is set up, if you send me payment as a 'gift' or 'personal' this won't work to avoid my being charged the 4%. Enter the total amount of merchandise, shipping, and PayPal surcharge into the 'Amount' box.
3) Click on the 'Continue' box and in the next page will be a message box where you can list what you are ordering, or send me an email listing the items you want and note that you are paying by PayPal. Be sure to include in the PayPal message box, or in a separate email, the address you want the package sent to.
4) Then click the 'Send Money' box.

Delivery: Allow three weeks for delivery of most items. However, delivery of handsewn items like haversacks, cockades, neckstocks, cartridge pouches/boxes and epaulettes may be three months or longer. Please keep in mind that we make these items in our free time after getting home from our regular jobs. Some folks have the notion that we do this full time, we don't. If you need these items quickly please order from a sutler who uses a sewing machine (as most do).

Returns: With the exception of fabric or anything custom cut to length/size, if you are not satisfied you may return the item if it is in the same condition as received, for a full merchandise refund less shipping and handling.

On weekends during campaign season I will be in the ranks of the 40th Foot, but my wife Debra may be tending our merchants table at the event. There is only so many hours available each night and I can either make stuff and fill orders or answer email queries for which the answers are already on the website. Thus if you write me asking a question that is answered on the website, I'll reply with a form letter saying the answer is on the FAQ page or on the particular website page.

Driving Directions: If you need to come by to pick up something, here is a map to my home in the northwest corner of Rhode Island. Please call ahead before coming over.
